2017 Program: Rockhounding in the
U.S.A.
Presented by: Bob & Maxine Dearborn
Traveling the United States can be a lot of fun and
collecting rocks along the way can make it an even better vacation. Members Bob
& Maxine Dearborn will take us on a journey to many states collecting
rocks, fossils and more. They will show us what the collecting sites look like
via videos & pictures and will describe what can be found at these
locations. They will also have samples of material collected from these many different
locales.
Come and join us for a fun and informative presentation
from our very own Bob & Maxine Dearborn!

dozens of 2nd, 4th & 5th grade classes at
schools from all over the San Fernando Valley seeing between 1500 and 2000
students and teachers each year. They have created three distinct timeline
presentations specifically targeted for each grade level and the earth sciences
topics they are learning about. Congratulations
